The original image was done completely in black and white with pen and ink on cold press illustration board. I later scanned in the image and digitally "painted" the image in Photoshop, a process I use as a method of creating color comps for other images.

This statue was a hidden treasure in the Philadelphia neighborhood that I had lived in. The cheetah was on the alley side of a women's boutique clothing store called Asta de Blue, on 20th Street, between locust and spruce.
